Recycling
In school we are recycling:-
paper
plastic bottles
cardboard
cards
ink cartridges
mobile phones
stamps
oils
cans
peelings and scraps for our wormeries and compost
You might have spotted our Rag Bag Bank outside the school. The next collection of clothes, shoes, bags, belts, towels and linen is on 23rd September 2010.
Look out for our 'bags for life' which are in school now.
Designed by Rachel Henry, little bags cost £2 and big bags £3 or it is £5 for a family!
We had a stall at eatBute 2010. Many of the things we were selling were recycled. Our lavender water was made from lavender grown in our garden and our coconut feeders were made from coconuts left over from the Highland Games Coconut Shy!
We made our own glycerine garden soap with added lavender and oatmeal to help get the dirt off.
The sunflowers are now nearly finished so we are leaving the seed heads for the birds to enjoy.
